What is NDA Giving Day?

Notre Dame Academy’s Giving Day is a one-day fundraising event scheduled to begin on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, for all members of the NDA community. On this day, alumnae, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends of NDA come together to affirm their belief in a Notre Dame Academy education by supporting the school.  Please get involved during Giving Day 2022 to support the mission of Notre Dame Academy to advance, embody, and excel at liberating education.

Why donate on Giving Day 2022?

For 119 years, Notre Dame Academy has provided girls and young women with a liberating education.  When you make a gift to Notre Dame, you help assure that we will always be a place where young women are nurtured and their unique abilities are recognized and fostered.  Notre Dame Academy’s Giving Day is an opportunity for donors to enhance the impact of their gift and encourage others to join us in our mission. Last year was a challenging one for all of us. However, Notre Dame Academy was able to remain open for live instruction every single day. Not once were we forced to close our doors due to the pandemic, and we are very proud of that! Last year we overcame, and this year we are thriving.  Notre Dame Academy has been open for in-person instruction since September 2021 and we have safely provided meaningful education to the young women of Staten Island for the 119th year since we were founded in the tradition of the Congregation of Notre Dame.

NDA’s Giving Day 2022 begins at 12:00am, Wednesday, February 9th  EST and ends at 11:59 pm, EST.

Where does my gift go and how does it make a difference?

Your contribution on Giving Day 2022 helps increase our Annual Fund, which funds scholarship and aid for the young women of NDA and helps fund the unforeseen expenses that accompanied our reopening. Your contribution helps us keep tuition down and enables more girls and young women to have the opportunity to attend Notre Dame Academy.  We need your support to help keep NDA’s liberating education a constant in our students’ lives.

We welcome all pledges to contribute during Giving Day 2022.  Please complete this form and indicate the best way to contact you on Wednesday, February 9th to process your gift.

On February 9th, you can make your gift from anywhere in the world in one of two ways:

Our payment methods are secure.  While we encourage giving online on February 9th, you can also give by mail: please mail your check, along with a note stating “NDA Giving Day” to:

Does my gift count towards my annual giving?

Yes. If it is your first gift this fiscal year, your gift on Notre Dame Academy’s Giving Day will be counted towards the annual giving participation rate and noted in our Annual Report. If you have already given this year, thank you for your gift! We encourage you to be a part of NDA’s Giving Day and help us reach our goal of $50,000 in just 24 hours. Only gifts made on February 9th count towards the Giving Day totals and we hope your additional gift will inspire others to give as well.a

Yes, your gift is entirely tax-deductible.  Notre Dame Academy is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization (Tax ID 13-5660278).
